The Photo Collection of the Swedish Maritima Muséet is a treasure chest for all classic yacht lovers. I found about 250 pictures of 8 metres from the early 30ies to the 50ies. Most of the pictures in the collections are from the annual great ragattas in Sandham in the heydays of R-yacht sailing. The yachts above are Wanda (S-3), Katrina (L-8) and Pinuccia (I-22) in the Sandhamn regatta of 1947.
